MAB also listed as one of the "Top 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists of All Time" by Guitar World Magazine, and one of the "20 Greatest Shredders of All Time" by Total Guitar Magazine, in April 2008. Batio also won the 2009 Guitar World Magazine Readers Choice award in the "Best Shredder" category.

Australia's Premier Guitar Show ,The Brisbane Guitar Amp & Vintage Show is an annual two-day event scheduled in late May 2011, and held at The RNA Show Grounds Commerce Building, Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills Brisbane, Queensland Australia.
Over the years the show has featured thousands of guitars, basses, amps, effects units, mandolins, banjos from some of the biggest names in the musical products world to custom built boutique builders instruments.
